Hotel Location
Guest Reviews & Ratings
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were smaller than expected and not very clean, but they were large which was a nice surprise. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect for exploring the University of Vermont and Burlington, though it was a bit dirty and moldy. The dining options were good, but the breakfast experience was a bit annoying. Overall, a mixed bag with some positives and negatives.
The hotel was convenient for our short stay in Burlington with comfortable rooms and pleasant service. The location was good, especially for accessing the City Centre, but cleanliness around the property could be improved. The dining experience had a wide selection but fell short of expectations in quality. Overall, decent value for the price.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit dusty and dirty, located at the end of a hallway that had a bad smell and were somewhat noisy from other parts of the hotel. On the positive side, they were closer to the registration area and easily accessible from the elevator.
The hotel is in a nice downtown Burlington location, making it convenient for work travel with easy access to nearby attractions and schools. The rooms were regular, missing basic amenities at first but eventually sorted out. The dining experience was a mix of delicious and disappointing moments, with a missed breakfast opportunity. The service was friendly and attentive, although an outdoor noise issue was promptly resolved. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel had very spacious and clean rooms, although not in the newer part. The rooms were nice and quiet despite the busy hotel environment, but the tub was a bit difficult to climb into. The service was great overall, with friendly and helpful staff, although there were some unusual activities reported. The location was gorgeous, ideal for various needs and close to attractions, but on a different site from the Hilton. The dining experience had some issues, including delays and unexpected charges. The hotel facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel was not bad, with a king-size bed that wasn't anything special, and I felt it didn't justify the price even after complaints and housekeeping's visit to refresh the room. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient but failed to show concern when we asked for a 1-hour late checkout due to a car breakdown. The location was comfortable and good for a tour of UVM, with lots of good bars, restaurants, and shopping around.
When I arrived at the hotel, I found the rooms to be pleasantly spacious but with an antiseptic smell that was not very welcoming. There was an unnecessary light that would periodically light up, possibly for the smoke detector. The service was very helpful in accommodating my late check-in request, but unfortunately, it was quite unhelpful both at the hotel and during the booking process. The location was perfect for my needs, being close to UVM, Church Street Marketplace, shopping, and restaurants, although it could use a good cleaning. The dining experience was just OK but could have been warmer. Overall, the combination of the great location and reasonable price made up for some of the downsides.
